When sending artwork or a logo for laser or rotary engraving, it is best to have it in a vector format. Vector images can be increased or decreased in size and the lines will remain crisp and sharp.

Common vector formats include:

.AI - Adobe Illustrator
.CDR - CorelDRAW
.CMX - Corel Exchange
.CGM - Computer Graphics Metafile
.WMF - Windows Metafile
.SVG - Scalable Vector Graphics

Bitmap images need to be converted by us for laser or rotary engraving because they pixilated or become jagged on the edges. Scanned images and all photo images from digital cameras are bitmaps.
